What Dhaalu is for, and what it isn’t.
Dhaalu sits in the central-south of the country, west of Meemu and north of Thaa. Resort density is low and lagoons are wide. It is a quieter alternative to the heavier central atolls for travellers who want short-ish seaplane transfers without the crowds.
The atoll holds some of the most architecturally distinctive resorts in the Maldives, and reef health is good across the protected sites.
